With only a few exceptions, all of the chairs have endowments, which support the activities of the chair holders. These positions allow Mānoa to recruit and support world-class scholars. Currently, we have professorial chairs in Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, and in the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology; Hawaiian, Asian and Pacific Studies, Law, and Nursing and Dental Hygiene.
