Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Welcome to the website of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA). The OVCAA is committed to academic leadership, excellence, and innovation. Its commitment is reflected in its support of the Mānoa and system visions, missions, and goals as they relate to academic matters. This involves planning, developing, organizing, directing, and evaluating academic programs, policies, procedures and guidelines. In addition, the Office develops and oversees faculty promotion and tenure processes.
In providing this website, the OVCAA encourages campus involvement in its quest for academic excellence. The website presents a wealth of information on academic, planning, faculty, accreditation, and communication matters. It includes information on academic policies, general education, academic committees, campus programs, program reviews, student learning assessment, accreditation, planning of courses and programs, institutional research, faculty governance, and faculty promotion and tenure procedures.
