More information about the 2019 Festival Intensive
will be posted soon.
Accommodations & Dining
We are able to offer single rooms at East-West Center (EWC), in Hale Manoa. These dorms are part of the EWC campus and are across the street from Kennedy Theatre.
Rooms must be booked through us and are available on a first come first serve basis. Click here for more details about Hale Manoa and a diagram of the rooms.
Festival participants will be allowed to check-in one day prior and check out one day after the Festival, July 22 – August 4, 2019.
Full payment will be due 65 days prior to arrival. Cancellation between 30 and 59 days prior to arrival will cost one night’s payment. Cancellation with less than 30 days notice will cost two night’s payment.
If you would like to live off campus, arrangements will need to be made on your own. APDF can provide a list of independent residencies and housing resources for those students who would like to live independently.
Participants are free to choose from several dining options available on campus which accept cash or credit/debit. Kitchens are available for use in Hale Manoa.
Personal Expenses
The Intensive tuition does not include costs for student housing, meals, air travel to and from Hawaiʻi, transportation to and from the airport, or local transportation other than required field trips. Students should prepare a personal budget to cover food, transportation, laundry, and entertainment.
