Eligibility Criteria and Scholarship Information

The Osher & Crankstart Reentry Scholarships provide tuition assistance to "reentry" adult students who are completing their first undergraduate degree.

The Osher & Crankstart Foundations seek to acknowledge the personal and financial commitments of reentry students who are defined as those who have experienced a gap in their education of at least five (5) years either before or during their college attendance.

These tuition scholarships target non-traditional adult students who may struggle to complete their education while juggling the demands of work, family and school but who nonetheless demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies.

The scholarship amount varies but recipients can receive awards of $5,000 for an academic year. Awards to part-time students will be proportional. Current Reentry Scholars are eligible to be considered for additional years, but must re-apply each year.
