Eligibility Criteria and Scholarship Information

The Osher Reentry Scholarships provide tuition assistance to "reentry" adult students who are completing their first undergraduate degree.

The Bernard Osher Foundation seeks to acknowledge the personal and financial commitments of reentry students who are defined as those who have experienced a gap in their education of at least five (5) years either before or during their college attendance.

The Bernard Osher Foundation intends this tuition scholarship to help non-traditional adult students who may struggle to complete their education while juggling the demands of work, family and school but who nonetheless demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies.

The scholarship amount varies but typically recipients will receive awards of $3,800 (approximately 50% of tuition) for academic year Fall 2017 and Spring 2018. Awards to part-time students will be proportional. Current Osher Reentry Scholars are eligible to be considered for additional years, but must re-apply each year.
