Hawai’i Okinawans, 1965…

Join the Hawaii United Okinawa Association, University of Hawaii at Manoa Library, and the University of Hawaii Center for Okinawan Studies at the Hawaii Okinawa Center for the screening of HAWAII NI IKIRU (LIFE IN HAWAII). This film was produced by Thomas Taro Higa, a military veteran and activist supporting naturalization rights for Issei. You can read more about Thomas Taro Higa here.

The film will be followed by a presentation by Dr. Nolan Higa, son of Thomas Taro Higa.

The event is FREE and open to the public.
