Voting begins for UH Bookstores’ student T-shirt contest
University of HawaiʻiThe University of Hawai‘i Bookstore System presents the semi-finalists for the 2016 HI Pride T-Shirt Design Contest.
The annual contest asks students enrolled at UH System campuses to create a T-shirt design that shows what “HI Pride” or “Hawai‘i Pride” means to them.
Semi-finalist designs go online for a public vote to determine the winner. The semi-finalists, selected by a panel of UH Bookstore managers and student employees, are:
- Brigette Agustin of University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa
- Evan Cano and Eric Cano of Kaua‘i Community College
- Celeste Guarin of University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa
- Alexandra Huizar of University of Hawai‘i at Hilo
- Jonah Jumila of University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa
Vote online at http://uhbookstores.polldaddy.com/s/hipride2016 or by visiting www.bookstore.hawaii.edu. Voting begins 4:00 pm May 2, 2016 and closes at 12:00 pm (noon HST) Monday, May 9, 2016.
The student design with the most online votes will be printed on T-shirts available at all UH Bookstores in Fall 2016 and online at www.bookstore.hawaii.edu.
UH students receive a special discount on HI Pride T-shirts with valid ID, and all UH Bookstores purchases support the University of Hawai‘i’s educational mission.
