Tea with Tutu fundraiser at UH Hilo

The public is reminded that the deadline for Tea with Tutu, a fundraising event featuring Frank De Lima is Wednesday, March 16. The event is hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Edwin H. Mookini Library and will be held on Sunday, March 20, noon-3 p.m. in the UH Hilo Campus Center Dining Room.

De Lima, a Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning musical comedian, will be joined by Nanea, a contemporary Hawaiian band featuring Stephen Kaheiki, Arnold Tarleton, and Lono Kanakaole.

Door prizes include books, local plants, and an Apple iPad.

The menu includes assorted deli sub sandwiches, fresh fruit, an assortment of pastries, and beverages.

Tickets are $50 in advance and can be purchased by check or credit card. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Preferred tables of six are available in advance for $300. Each ticket includes a $25 tax-deductible donation. Local service organizations that purchase a table of six will be mentioned in the program. All tax-deductible donations will be acknowledged by the University of Hawai‘i Foundation.
