All University of Hawaiʻi campuses, including community colleges, will be testing the UH Alert emergency notification system next Thursday, April 15, at 10 a.m. At this time, you will receive a test alert message via email and - if you signed up for it - via cell phone text-messaging.

Also next Thursday at 10 a.m., on the UH Mānoa campus, Campus Security vehicles will test their emergency loudspeaker systems in the area of Hawaiʻi Hall and Varney Circle.

We encourage you to sign up to receive alerts via text-messaging, because it will immediately inform you in the event of a campus emergency. It will only be utilized in case of an immediate threat to safety, plus once a semester as a test.
