Five high school students named finalists in UH West Oʻahu flyer contest

Five flyers remain after more than 250 high school students from around the State of Hawaiʻi entered University of Hawaii–West Oʻahu's Third Annual Flyer Contest for a chance to win one of five iPod video Nanos, an Amazon Kindle and an opportunity to get their work published in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and MidWeek.
 
The general public is invited to vote for the grand prize winner, who will have his/her design published in an April issue of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and MidWeek and will win an Amazon Kindle. Participants were asked to create a flyer that promotes UH West Oʻahu as a top choice for college-bound students.

The five finalists are: 
- Marc Jason Abundo, Kaua‘i High School
- Caroline Foti, King Kekaulike High School
- Alex Kawamoto, Mililani High School
- Sabrina Lowe, Mililani High School
- Justine Rumbaua, Maui High School

To vote, visit http://www.uhwo.Hawaiʻi.edu/flyercontest. Online voting begins on March 8 and will end on March 22 at 11:59 p.m. HST. The grand prize winner will be announced in April.
