The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, in partnership with the Hawai‘i State Department of Health and the Office of the Governor, will begin airing two public service announcements addressing the problem of domestic violence in Hawai‘i.  The two PSAs feature current and former UH Mānoa athletes who are model citizens in sports, school and the community, speaking out on violence against women.

The first PSA features Rocky Savaiigaea, a UH Mānoa football player returning for his senior year, and his mother, Chicki Savaiigaea.  Talent for the second PSA are UH Mānoa men’s basketball head coach Bob Nash, wife Domelynne, and son Bobby, a former UH Mānoa basketball player whose career spanned from 2003-08.

The PSAs will air on local television and radio stations. To view the PSAs, visit http://www.hawaiiathletics.com.
