Business College jumps in rankings of undergraduate international business programs
University of Hawaiʻi at MānoaUS News & World Report has ranked the UH Manoa College of Business Administration 13th in the nation for its undergraduate international business programs — a jump from 17th last year.
"We are really pleased that our continued emphasis on a high-quality international business program is paying off with this kind of recognition," said Dean Vance Roley. "We see this as a significant improvement in the rankings, and this further supports our top 25 international business ranking for our MBA program that we received last spring."
In April, the publication ranked the College‘s graduate program in International Business among the best in the nation — tied for 21st with Dartmouth College and George Washington University. The Manoa program has been ranked in the top 25 in International Business for the past 6 years.
The ranking is based on two types of data: expert opinion about program quality and statistical indicators that measure the quality of faculty, research and students, and is based on an annual survey of business Deans from programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The UHM College of Business offers various MBA programs with an Asia-Pacific focus such as the Vietnam Executive MBA, Japan-Focused MBA and the new China International MBA program starting Fall 2007.
This year, the Vietnam Executive MBA program in Hanoi is expanding to include a second site in Ho Chi Minh City.
