The University of Hawai‘i–Mānoa Chamber Singers combine for a concert of choral music with the Utah Valley University Chamber Choir. The two universities have created a program of melodies that span the globe, from Chinese lovesongs to mainland U.S. cowboy lullabies. The Voices of Aloha (VoA) is a traveling choir made up of some of the best vocal talent the University has to offer and this coming year, they plan to venture from Montréal to Manhattan! While on the East Coast they’ll show people the Hawaiian choral tradition! In order to get there, we need your help! This fundraiser recital features many VoA singers and supporters. The repertoire ranges from Bach to Avenue Q and Wicked. The event is free and includes a light reception after.
