In a synergy of sonorities, Seoul-based Ensemble Collabo combines the raw emotional character of traditional Korean instruments with their Western counterparts, presenting a music that connects worlds. Founded and directed by composer Gui Sook Lee, the group performs an exciting new repertoire for haegeum, viola, geomungo, piano and Korean drums, representing an elegant and vibrant fusion of Korean and Western musical sensibilities.
