Hawaii Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society, Brigham Young University – Hawaii, and the University of Hawai‘i – Mānoa Music Department present a day of percussion, featuring clinics, solo and ensemble adjudication, and performances by six Hawaii school percussion ensembles.
Featured presenters include:

- Mr. Alan Shinn (Texas Tech University Professor of Percussion Studies)
- Dr. Darren Duerden (BYU-H)
- Mr. Robert Klieger (Milwaukee Symphony)
- Mr. Jordan Schifino (Hawaii Symphony & UHM-Music)
Clinic Sessions
- Introduction to Percussion & Keyboard Techniques (Rogers & Shinn) – 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
- Tahitian Drumming: A Method to the Madness (Duerden) – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
- Looping Improvisation (Klieger & Schifino) – 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
There will be performances (1:00 – 3:00 p.m.) by:
