Henry Miyamura is a noted clarinetist, teacher and Director of the University of Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, he heads the Woodwind Program and is in great demand as a clinician on all of the woodwind instruments. Many of his students have gone on to Eastman, the Univeristy of Michigan and other major universities. He is also the Director of the University of Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, Music Director of the Hawaii Youth Symphony Orchestra and for Assistant Director of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra.
