This fall, the German Film Series screens films in conjunction with LLEA 338 / History of German Cinema (offered in English).

Films screen on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm in Moore Hall 258.

Wed. Oct. 16 – The Trace of Stones (1966) – Dir. Frank Beyer – 139 mins.

The DEFA film The Trace of Stones (1966) — directed by Frank Beyer, screened for 3 days and then banned for 23 years — shows the living and working conditions in 1960s East Germany.
