The University of Hawaii at Manoa Center on Disability Studies received a three-year, $9.1 million grant from the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The total amount of the grant is $15.8 million with 59% funded from federal and state agencies and 41% from private industry and non-profit organizations.
