Hawaii’s cultural ties with the Philippines will be celebrated September 17 to November 17 at various public events at Hamilton Library on the University of Hawaii campus.

The events are being held in collaboration with the National Museum of the Philippines, the Office of Philippine Senator Loren Legarda, the Philippine Consulate General and the UH Center for Philippine Studies in the School of Pacific and Asian Studies.

The Hibla ng Lahing Filipino Traveling Exhibition will feature lectures, weaving demonstrations and exhibits at the Hamilton Bridge Gallery on the ground floor from September 17 to November 17 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 10 p.m. For more information, please visit the Hibla ng Lahing Filipino Event Website.
