Katipunan T-Shirt Design Contest

Katipunan Club is STILL looking for one of its own to design a T-shirt for the 2000-2010 school year! So all you creative minds out there, get those designs rolling in! We have extended the Katipunan T-shirt design contest deadline to Friday, October 30. Don't wait until the last minute to turn them in!

Please read the rules and regulations listed below. When submitting your designs, please remember to follow the instructions on how to submit in order for your design to be considered:

How to submit digitally:
* Submit digital designs to katipunan.club@gmail.com
* Include your name, class/section and contact information (email & phone) in your email
* NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ALLOWED

How to submit by hard copy:
* Submit hard copies to Tita Ime at Spalding 452
* Include your name, class/section and contact information (email & phone) on a separate sheet of paper
* Put your designs and information into a sealed envelope
* NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ALLOWED

Why create a T-Shirt design?
* These shirts are used to represent our club, image-building
* We use these shirts at all of our events, promotional
* We raise funds from the sales of the T-Shirts, fundraising
* This is your chance to become famous!

Guidelines:
* Design a T-shirt related to the Katipunan Club
* Design must be in one color only (in addition to shirt color)
* Design must be free of profanity and explicit images
* You can submit up to 2 designs
* Keep it minimal, less detail is better, no photos please
*Theme: There is no specific theme, but here are some suggestions:
- Being Filipino-American (October is Filipino-American Month in Hawaii)
- What does it mean to be Filipino-American?
* If your design is chosen, you must be available for consultation
* Design may be modified, especially hand-drawn submissions since they will be made digital
* All rights and ownership of the designs become property of the Katipunan Club upon submission
* Your design will be placed on the front of the shirt
* The Katipunan Club logo will also be included on the back of the shirt. You can download it at http://manoa.hawaii.edu/katipunan/images/logo_words.jpg

Also recommended:
* We recommend that you register with us if you are interested in designing the Club T-Shirt.
* Why Register? Since we will know you are interested in creating a design, we can remind you of the deadline if you haven't yet submitted.
* How to Register? Send an email to katipunan.club@gmail.com with your name and class/section. In your email indicate in the subject or body that you are registering for the Katipunan T-Shirt Contest.

Incentive:
Contest winner receives TWO free Katipunan T-Shirts and will be featured in the Katipunan Magazin!
