DRAMAFEST GUIDELINES & JUDGING CRITERIA

DRAMAFEST GUIDELINES

  1. Drama presentation should be only 12 minutes including set-up and taking down props. Please note that FIVE points will be deducted per minute of overtime.
  2. Script should be based on an existing Philippine legend (100 level [Legends of Plants] 200 level [Legends of Places and Animals]).
  3. Use minimal props.
  4. Use of powerpoint/computer-generated production as backdrop is NOT allowed.
  5. Use minimal narration. Focus more on the dialogues.
  6. Each member of the group should have some speaking lines.
  7. Individual groups are responsible for cleaning up after their presentation.

Some clarifications on the banquet

Please RSVP with your instructors as soon as possible (deadline: April 25). Payment will be due on or before MAY 2 but we do encourage people to pay early because Katipunan has to pay $3000 (75% of the total cost) by this Friday, April 25.

The actual banquet starts at 5:30 pm and dinner will be at 6:45 pm.

We'll keep you posted but do not hesitate to ask questions if you have any, Maraming salamat.

A little update on our Banquet that will be held on Friday 6PM on May 9th at Hale Koa Hotel, Laulima Room.

Payment

Please pay for your tickets by Friday, April 25th. Payments should be made to your teachers or the person appointed by your teacher to be in charge of collecting Banquet ticket money.
The Tickets were printed out yesterday, so they should be available from your teachers today (4/23).

Space is limited to only 100 people so RSVP ASAP (by Friday)! After Friday, April 25th, we will open reservation spaces to the Community.

Again the prices are:

$30 - Current Katipunan Members
$40 - Katipunan Guests & Alumni
$45 - Community
