Katipunan news/events/activities #2 & Picnic Pasasalamat

Kumusta kayong lahat,

I hope you all had a restful 3day weekend. First of all, maraming maraming salamat to those who attended and participated in our Spring2008 Picnic through the games, food, and fun. Special thanks goes out to our historians, the picnic committee coordinators (Glenda Ancheta & Zal Cortez) for orchestrating a great picnic event. Also, congratz to the classes who won the MiniSongfest competition.

BTW, there were a couple of LOST&FOUND things that I noticed that were not mine as the officers and I left the picnic site... I found one white tent attachment thingy (I think it might be from FIL102-03, it was around that area and I know that your guys tent was half-up for most of the time.) and the last thing is a bag of tupperware (one containing some super salty chicken dish), a roll of paper towel, and paper goods. It WAS in a white macys bag. So... if any of these two items are yours please get back to me.

In other balita...

These are the tentative general meeting dates: (meeting location is TBA)
2nd GM- Friday, Feb. 29, 5pm
3rd GM (Part1)*- Monday, March 10, 5pm
3rd GM (Part2)*- Thursday, March 13, 5pm
4th GM- Friday, April 18, 5pm

*3rd GM (Part2) is the same as (Part1), no difference, you will still be credited if you go to just one.

If you enjoyed doing the Tinikling at Picnic, please come on down and check out our Tinikling workshops! Next one is this Saturday, 2pm@Hemenway 201.

Also this Saturday, our brother/sister organization, Timpuyog, is having their picnic @Ala Moana Beach Park site40 (right across from where we had ours), 9am-2pm. Some of the officers are going to be there in collaboration, so feel free to join in on the fun.

So you think you can be a Katipunan officer? If interested or simply just want to contribute your ideas and input to our organization, our next Officers Meeting will be on Friday, March 14, 6PM@Spalding 257.

Last but not least, our fundraising of Zippy's Chili has just begun, please sell sell sell!!! There will be incentives for the top seller(s) and the top CLASS. We still have a few club t-shirts and Katipunan Songfest Fall2007 DVDS for purchase as well.
