The Consulate-General of Japan in Honolulu awarded the 2025 Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Research Student (Kenkyuu Ryuugakusei) Scholarship on March 21, 2025.

This prestigious scholarship will support Emily Pham, UH Mānoa graduate (B.A. in Computer Engineering) to conduct research in the field of Information and Communication Engineering at the Institute of Science Tokyo from April 2025 until March 2027.
