Join us on Thursday, April 27@ 5:30 p.m. to hear from Genai Keli‘ikuli, Leeward Community College Associate Professor. She will be sharing her mana‘o about “Healing Our Relationship With Learning and Education: Truth and Identity”. The public education system as it exists today, especially in Hawaiʻi, rarely endeavors to function as learning and education has done in traditional and indigenous communities. This session will examine these realities and the potential for focus on truth and identity as ways to reconnect ourselves and our communities with our innate love for learning, to the benefit and restoration of our lāhui.
