If you are a current Spring 2016 resident with a confirmed Session 1, 3, or VARIED (beginning May 21, 2016) Summer term assignment, then you are eligible to participate in interim housing.
If you would like to sign up, please visit the Student Housing Services Office located in Frear Hall. Sign ups will end on FRIDAY, MAY 6, 2016. You must pay the $168.00 housing fee at the time of sign-up. The move date from your Spring 2016 assignment to your Summer 2016 assignment will be on WEDNESDAY, MAY 18th from 12pm to 6pm. PLEASE NOTE: All sign-ups after May 6, 2016 will receive a $25 late fee.

Meal Plan Change/Add for Spring 2016
Deadline to submit meal plan changes for the Spring 2016 semester is FRIDAY, JANUARY 22, 2016 BY 4:30PM (HST)
You may change/add meal plans at the Student Housing Services Office at Frear hall.
Meal plan changes will be effective the Sunday following the date requested and is applicable to MEAL PLAN SWIPES ONLY. Retail points will remain the same.
Prorated charges will be adjusted to your MyUH account.

A Tsunami Advisory is in effect for the State of Hawaii. (Sept 16, 2015, 2:30pm)
THE TSUNAMI ADVISORY IS ENDED FOR THE STATE OF HAWAII EFFECTIVE AT 0733 AM HST, SEPTEMBER 17, 2015.
The advisory means that a major tsunami is not expected to strike the State of Hawaii. However, sea level changes and strong currents may occur along all coasts that could be a hazard to swimmers and boaters as well as to persons near the shore at beaches and in harbors and marinas. The threat may continue for several hours after the initial wave arrival.
Estimated time of arrival of the initial wave is 3:11 a.m. HST on Thursday, September 17.
It is recommended that residents stay out of the water or away from the shoreline during the impacted time frame.
Please note that all Student Housing communities are not in tsunami inundation zones so the communities will not be impacted by any coastal issues.
Please follow the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, other government agencies and local media for the latest news.
The university will provide further updates only if there are specific UH issues of situations to report.

- A LIMITED AMOUNT OF ZONE 22 PARKING PASSES (August 19, 2015)
A limited amount of Zone 22 parking passes (Hawaiian Studies parking structure) will be available for purchase for the Fall 2015 semester. To obtain these passes, you are required to have an active Fall 2015 housing contract AND have verifiable employment at an off-campus location for the duration of the Fall semester.
To apply, you will need to complete the Zone 22 parking survey. The link to the survey will be available and emailed to you on MONDAY, AUGUST 24TH at 9:00AM (Hawaii Standard Time).
If you are eligible, you will be informed (via student email) to pick up an employment verification form from the Student Housing Office. Your completed employment verification form must be returned to the Student Housing Office no later than Friday, August 28th by 4:00pm (Hawaii Standard Time).
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY APPLICATIONS AT THE STUDENT HOUSING OFFICE. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH THE SURVEY LINK. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. PLEASE DO NOT STAND IN LINE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSING OFFICE.

Important Information about HD channels (February 20, 2015)
Our cable provider has notified us that DirectTV is experiencing technical issues that have caused the temporary interruption of several national HD channels. Their engineering team is hard at work to restore the channels as quickly as possible.
We will let you know as soon as the HD channels resume normal broadcast.
Network connectivity and Phone outage (February 12, 2015)
Since early this morning, the UH Manoa campus has been experiencing network problems affecting wired Internet connectivity, wireless connectivity, and phone service. Campus IT has been working on the problem and their latest updates can be found at:
As 8:30AM, most of the housing network has been brought online, including both wired and wireless connectivity, but our phones are still not working. We do not have an ETA for when the phones will be back online. Note that other parts of campus may still be down, so you may not be able to connect to websites or applications hosted elsewhere on campus.
