Meet Your Hall Staff
This is my first year as the Hale Noelani Residence Director. I gained my Bachelors of Psychology and French at The Ohio State University and my Masters in Counselor Education at Clemson University. My past-times include exploring, traveling, spending time with friends, and eating! Stop by my office so I can get to know you!! (Maja)
Assistant Residence Director
Hi! My name is Christopher Bates and I am the Assistant Residence Director for Noelani. I was born in California but have lived in Hawaii since I was two years old. I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in English and Political Science, and am currently attending the William S. Richardson School of Law. When I'm not enjoying the study of law, I'm usually out hiking up the ridge, snorkeling around at the north shore, or playing some Frisbee and getting some sun.
I am very excited to be an Assistant Residence Director and working with everyone to create a positive living environment. Noelani is such a unique building, bringing together many individuals with interesting backgrounds and identities. Every day there's something new to learn and experience because of the residents. Feel free to stop on by my office to chat and say "Hi!" anytime. Together, this year is sure to be a blast!
