Meet Your Hall Staff
Aloha! My name is Kamana Seymour and I am the Residence Director (RD) of the Hale Noelani complex here on campus. This is my first year as an RD, but almost my fourth year of working with Student Housing Services Residence Life, after having lived with Student Housing as an undergraduate resident. Last year, I was the Assistant Residence Director (ARD) for the International Gateway House and before that the ARD for Summer Residence Life 2010 and in that capacity, I was also the first ARD for SHS. Prior to that, I was a Hall Director (HD) for Hale Noelani complex for 2009-2010 and became the last person to serve in that position as we phased in the Graduate ARD position during 2010. From 2008 through 2009, I was an RA for Frear Hall with the inaugural staff of the new Frear Hall and also served as a summer RA in Hale Aloha complex. Before that, I was a Community Desk coordinator in Johnson Hall and Hale Noelani complex while still an undergrad. My undergraduate degree is in American Studies, with a minor in Geography and my graduate degree is in Public Administration with a focus on organizational dynamics, with a companion certificate in Historic Preservation. My interests include lifting, eating, reading, advising, and hanging out with fun and interesting people – hence, my current career path.
