6:00 pm The 2013 Daeufer Lecture with Linda Darling-Hammond Art Auditorium Event Details Getting Teacher Evaluation Right: What really matters for learning and equity. Presented by Linda Darling-Hammond, Charles E. Ducommun Professor of Education, Stanford Graduate School of Education.

9:30am ROTC Golf Tournament Hawaii Prince Golf Course Event Details The Golf tournament will be played using golf scramble rules. There will be a shotgun start at 11:30am. There will be additional games such as a putting contest and a chipping contest. Lunch will be served as well as a dinner banquet with entertainment.

Wednesday, October 23

10:15am-12:30pm Ways to Manoa: An Alternative Experience Hamilton Library Plaza Event Details A resource fair for the UHM community to answer questions about alternative commute solutions (other than driving alone). Sponosored by Commuter Services with other campus offices, as well as representatives from government, private, and non-profit groups. Cycle Manoa refurbished bike sale starts at 11:00am.

10:00am-08:00pm Convergence: Glitch_Click_Thunk, Featuring Mark Amerika University of Hawai'i Art Gallery Event Details "Convergence: Glitch_Click_Thunk, Featuring Mark Amerika" is the inaugural exhibition of a new series that encompasses and explores the impact of internet art, digital, electronic, sound and a range of new, traditional, and hybrid technologies.
03:00pm-10:00pm Ka Leo Arts Festival McCarthy Mall and Bale Courtyard/Manoa Garden Event Details To spread knowledge and awareness for the arts community at UH and build brand identity with Ka Leo and the student body at UH. Support UH homecoming and celebrate UH's alumni and students, faculty, and staff.

8:30am-2:00pm SOEST Open House POST, MSB, HIG and other surrounding areas Event Details Students, families, and community members will participate in educational “hands-on” activities and visit state-of-the-art laboratories to hear about cutting-edge research from the scientists who are making the new discoveries!
4:30pm-7:30pm Homecoming Friday Fair Clarence T.C. Ching Complex Event Details The University of Hawaii at Manoa celebrates its Homecoming Week with food, fun and fellowship.
5:00pm-9:00pm Meet Up! The M Nightclub (500 Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu, HI 96813) Event Details A networking event where UH alumni and the UH ‘Ohana from all 10 campuses can make new friends, new business contacts and connect with each other.

Saturday, October 26

10:00am-02:00pm SOEST Open House POST, MSB, HIG and other surrounding areas Event Details Students, families, and community members will participate in educational “hands-on” activities and visit state-of-the-art laboratories to hear about cutting-edge research from the scientists who are making the new discoveries!
6:00 pm (kickoff) Football - UH vs. Colorado State (Homecoming) Aloha Stadium UH vs. Colorado State Free bus transportation is available to UHM students. Buses will depart from Dole Street 2.5 hours before game time. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. A validated UHM ID card is required to board the bus and to enter Aloha Stadium. Students may enter the stadium through Gates 1, 7 & 8.

5:30pm UH Manoa Nursing Alumni Association Homecoming Pau Hana Bonsai Restaurant and Lounge at Restaurant Row (500 Ala Moana Blvd., Hon., HI 96813) Event Details Networking for alumni and to celebrate the Nursing Class of '63 Golden Scholars 50th Reunion and the Class of '88 Silver Scholars 25th Reunion.

Friday, November 8

5:00pm-8:30pm 6th Annual "Holmes"coming Celebration 2540 Dole Street, Holmes Hall ground floor Event Details The purpose of this event is for College of Engineering alumni to re-establish existing relationships and establish new ones with other alums, public/private sector engineers, College of Engineering leadership, faculty, and students.
