We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers interested in understanding how people use information systems and dedicated to informing design based on human performance data.
We use a variety of empirical methods including formal experiments, ethnographic analysis, and participatory design.
We conduct studies in a number of domains including:
- Social Computing and Civic Engagement
- E-Participation and E-Democracy
- Cultural Issues in Computing
Anyone and everyone interested in human-computer interaction is welcome to attend lab seminars and meetings. Students who want to work on HCI-related projects are especially encouraged to contact the lab.
