High School Student Interest in STEM

On February 5, 2013, in STEM, by admin

Education Week relayed a recent report from My College Options and STEMconnector noting that “high school students are increasingly interested in pursuing STEM majors and careers.” However, the report, Where are the STEM Students? What are their Career Interests? Where are the STEM Jobs?, also describes a growing gender gap between male and female students interested in STEM. A free summary of highlights from the report is available here and the full report is available for purchase from STEMconnector.
