Access If You Are In Hawaiʻi

If you are in Hawaiʻi, the newspapers indexed here are available on microfilm at many public libraries, and at many University of Hawaiʻi System libraries.

Access If You Are Not In Hawaiʻi

If you are not in Hawaiʻi, and if the content you want is not available online, some options for obtaining copies are:

  • Ask your library's interlibrary loan or document delivery department to obtain a copy of the article for you. They will contact a library in their network and get the article for you. This should be your first step.
  • If your library is unable to obtain a copy for you, request a copy of an article from the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System. Go to their page on interlibary loans for further information.
  • If your library is unable to obtain a copy for you, request a copy from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Library. Go to our page on external services (go to the section on Document Delivery) for further information.
