The Office of the Gender Equity Specialist provides training on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and domestic violence. We also train on Title IX and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013’s amendments to the Clery Act.
Please contact our office to inquire about these topics, and to inquire about additional training topics available.
Our training sessions are a free service designed to support our campus community with basic awareness about their rights and responsibilities under state and federal laws and the University of Hawaiʻi and University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa policies as they pertain to sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, or other training topic. They are available for students, faculty, and staff, and each training is tailored to best benefit the particular department, unit, or class.
We are also available for external trainings on a limited basis. Please contact our office if you are interested in this option.
