1. Go to Self Service
This takes you to the Self Service portal. Click on Financial Aid from the different student services options after you login with your UH username and password.

2. Be sure to select the correct aid year and school from the Aid Year dropdown. Click on Home, the Unsatisfied Requirement(s) will be at the top with an exclamation icon and will be indicated with Not Received to the right. Click on the drop down arrow for more information on the requirement. Satisfied requirements will have a check mark icon.

3. To Accept/Decline Financial Aid, go to Offer and scroll down.

4. You will see information such as your expected enrollment status, housing status, student aid index, and cost of attendance. Make your decision to accept or decline the offer(s) and click on the submit button.

5. The Financial Aid History option will show all of the aid received from our office. You may use the drop down to select a specific school year.

6. The Resources option will show if we have any outside scholarship, third party payment, waiver, etc. notated.

7. The Notifications option will show any active messages or withdrawal information.

8. The Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) option will show your status.

9. The College Financing Plan option will give a breakdown and summary of the estimated cost of attendance, student aid index, types of aid, and more.
