Brief Background, Path to Planning: I am an alumni of Nāwahīokalani`opu`u Hawaiian immersion high school in Puna, HI, and recently finished my undergraduate degree in Geography at UH Hilo.  My research interests are in Natural Resources and Environmental planning with an emphasis on cultural and community planning.  After graduation I plan to return to my home in Hilo on the Big Island, and give back to the community that helped contribute to my upbringing and influenced my academic and career goals.
