AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS (AEDs)    

An automated external defibrillator is a portable device that delivers an electric shock to the heart in an attempt to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs can be used to treat sudden cardiac arrest and can monitor heart rhythm.

There are 3 AEDs on the campus. They are stored in the following locations:

  • Campus Center, Room 208
  • Institute for Astronomy (IFA), Building B, 1st floor lobby hallway
  • Stan Sheriff Center, First Aid Room, 2nd floor
    (located through the main entrance, before Sections A & B
