Catch crabs on moonlit nights.

Storage

Can be frozen for long storage.

Preparation

  • Wash crabs well before use.
  • Boil in water.
  • Can be boiled alive or cooked over a fire.
  • Can be made into soup and pairs well with coconut milk/cream.
  • Can be stuffed by removing meat under the shell and cooking with other ingredients to be placed back into the cavity of the crab and covered with the shell to be boiled.
  • Meat can be eaten hot or cold but discard shells. (Rody, 1982)
