Pinch off the branchlets without uprooting the base. Shake in seawater to remove dirt and sand.

Supreme limu, or limu kohu, is found off reef edgesand likes clean and well-flushed waters. The plant is yellowish red or dark red in color and looks like tiny pink trees with fuzzy branchlets in the water (Novaczek, 2001).
