Catch squid with a net.

Storage

Can be frozen for longer storage.

Preparation

• Wash squid well before use.
• Pull off and throw away the skin under running water.
• Strip off and throw away the insides and ink sac.
• Clean out the tube of the body or cut it open with a knife and wash it.
• Pop out the hard mouth from between the legs.
• Can soften meat before cooking by pounding with a rock or hammer.
• Can be baked, boiled, grilled, pickled, sautéed, or make into soup.
