Teaching Assistantship(s) are available through the Department of Human Nutrition, Food, and Animal Sciences, the home department of the Intercollege Nutrition PhD Program and are awarded annually on a competitive basis. Students interested in a teaching assistantship should contact each department. Those interested in the Intercollege Nutrition PhD assistantship should send their application materials following the directions outlined below. See graduate funding for details
Position Title: Intercollege Nutrition PhD Graduate Teaching Assistant
Qualifications Required: Admitted to the Intercollege Nutrition PhD graduate degree program.
Minimum Requirement: Classified graduate student in Intercollege Nutrition PhD Program
Desirable Qualifications: Attention to detail; Prepared to learn and follow protocols. Evidence of teaching experience for nutrition related course(s) (upper level preferred)
Narrative of Duties: General duties will be to support and teach nutrition related classes. Specific duties will be dependent on current program needs, and current instructional needs.
9-month position: 50% FTE (20 hours/ week); summer lecturing also possible
