Work Email: yanghua.he@hawaii.edu
Research Interests
1. Livestock animal production: applying genomics and epigenomics approaches as well as computational methods to improve livestock animal production; 2. Diseases: utilizing high throughput sequencing datasets to elucidate the mechanisms of diseases in animals and humans and pinpointing the causal genetic variants of the disease using CRISPR-based technologies; 3. Nutrigenomics: studying the mechanisms of how different diets contribute to different phenotypes (eg. BMI for evaluating obesity) based on omics-data.
