Exploring your Environment Program

Since 2014, Oahu 4-H has received funding through National 4-H Council from the Disney Conservation Fund to provide youth opportunities to explore nature and the outdoors.  Through the 4-H Exploring your Environment Program, youth explore how organisms interact with the environment and learn how to address environmental issues such as conserving water and protecting nature’s helpers.

The Oahu 4-H Youth Development Program has offered afterschool enrichment programs, environmental day camps , and service-learning opportunities at the Urban Garden Center, summer enrichment programs as well as partnered with Environmental Science International (ESI) to provide protecting water sessions at the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Agricultural Awareness Day.
