The Waiehu Beach Cleanup took place on April 24, 2022 with 27 4-Hers, 6 leaders and a few parents\siblings. It was so nice to finally have an in-person event! Supplies (garbage bags, gloves, pickers) were provided by Malama Maui Nui. Snack and water provided by 4-H with funds to be reimbursed to Lucky Clovers, who organized the event as a community service project.

Police Department Community Service
On April 3, 2022, Maui 4-H clubs participated in the annual Teach-In event, where members presented food demonstrations, extemporaneous speeches or science demonstrations online. As part of the annual event, participants also completed thank you goody bags for the officers and staff at the Maui Police Department as a community service project.
