Peer Mentor Services
The CSDC Peer Mentors or "Peer Fellows" are a diverse team of UH Students who have been trained to provide support to their fellow UH peers. Their goal is to work collaboratively with other students, assisting them in meeting academic, social, and personal goals.
The support they provide is delivered through a range of different types of contact including:
- One-on-one support in:
- Discovering and navigating campus resources
- Time Management
- Stress Management
- Self Care
- Hosting a weekly "Talk Story" hour where students are welcome to drop in for peer contact and support
- Facilitating workshops on Time Management and Stress Management
- Participation in CSDC outreach and resource fairs to increase awareness of the campus resources available to students
