New flexible campus parking options begin Jan. 4

The new flexible and affordable parking options announced November 7 by UH Mānoa Commuter Services officially begins on January 4, 2023.

New Daily Parking Passes (Students and Employees)

Students and employees will be able to purchase a limited number of daily parking passes online each week for the Lower Campus Parking Structure at a promotional rate of $4. Zone 20 daily permits become available for purchase on Wednesday at noon for the following week. Advance daily purchases must be made by 11:59pm of prior day. Passes are valid throughout the day with in/out privileges and can be used in any unreserved upper campus stall after 4 p.m. Daily passes should be printed and displayed on the vehicleʻs dashboard. The passes are connected to a license plate and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Lower Campus Parking

Parking for the Lower Campus Parking Structure will remain at $5 upon entry for those who do not purchase an online pass.

Important: Cash is no longer accepted at the parking kiosks. Please plan accordingly.

Student Semester Parking Permits

Parking permits are no longer being mailed. Permits can be picked up at the Art Auditorium from Wednesday, January 4 through Friday, January 6 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Free parking will be available at the Lower Campus Parking Structure on those days. The first 700 students to pick up their permits will also be entered to win prizes.

Visitor Parking $1 Per Hour After 4 p.m.

Anyone can park in any unreserved stall on upper campus after 4 p.m. for $1 per hour. More information on visitor parking.
