The 14th annual convention of the International Association of Language and Social Psychology will be hosted by the Department of Communicology at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa on June 19-22, 2014. The conference, which brings together researchers who broadly study language in social contexts, will be held at the Ala Moana Hotel. The conference highlights multidisciplinary work conducted by distinguished scholars in disciplines, such as communication, social psychology, sociolinguistics, and applied linguistics, from around the world.
A highlight of the conference will be a keynote presentation by Min-Sun Kim, Professor in the Department of Communicology, presenting her ideas on the future study of language and social psychology.
