Professor Zanella’s teaching responsibilities include Chinese and Japanese history and Mandarin language. His research interests are language teaching methodology, cultural debates in modern Chinese thought, and social trends in contemporary Japan. As Associate Dean of International Programs he administers HPU’s international affiliations.
