Capstone Year & Scholarships

During the Capstone Year, you’ll take 2-3 language classes at Flagship Center, as well as 2-3 classes in your field at Nanjing University (NJU) or Beijing Union University (BUU) and complete an internship that makes use of your Chinese language skills. Note: NJU accepts applicants for both Fall and Spring semester. BUU only accept applicants for the Fall semester.

Capstone Year Scholarships:  Flagship scholarship opportunities are available to Flagship students in good standing who have been accepted to the Capstone Year in China Program. Applications open in March and decisions are generally made during finals week.

Flagship scholarships are just one possibility for students. Everyone is strongly encouraged to pursue other scholarship opportunities.
