– Cumulative 3.0 GPA Minimum preferred
– Intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, and self-motivation are a great start.  Beyond that, you should have a sincere passion for engaging with people—and the communication skills to match.  Managing a team also calls for leadership experience that includes professional business ethics, assertiveness, and an aptitude for helping others solve problems.  To round out your skillset, you should possess strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.

– The C&C of Honolulu offers a unique internship called the Po’okela Fellows. Students will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in their field of study from a knowledgeable City mentor.  Various projects will be assigned to familiarize students with their area of interest as well as government functions. In addition, students in the program will be invited to exclusive activities and tours of various City operations.

– Bachelor’s degree in management, human services or other related discipline strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
– At least four years of progressive experience including administration, supervision and management experience.
– The Executive Director is the Chief Operating Officer for our company and will be responsible for expanding the capacity and presence of the organization and managing some or all of the operations of Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs at the discretion of the Board of Directors.  The primary emphasis will be on fund raising and development.  This may be adjusted as the needs of the organization grow and change.
