Hawaii Space Grant Consortium

Team Winner:

Teaching Science as Inquiry

This team was nominated by Joanna Philippoff and Lauren Kaupp. Team members include: Brittany Supnet and Jordan Wang. They won a plaque and pizza party basket.

Jonathan Goto

Individual Overall Winner:

Tracie Lock

Lock was nominated by Laura Shimabukuro, Assistant Director of Campus Center. Tracie is an Event Services Manager in the Meetings & Event Services department of Student Life and Development and is a senior majoring in Biology. She won a grand prize of a $1,000 cash scholarship. Lock was also selected as the Hawaii State Winner for the Western Association of Student Employment Administrators.

Laurie Tomooka

Individual Category Winner:

Trevor Manu

Manu was nominated by Joannie Dobbs, Assistant Specialist. Trevor is a Student Assistant in the Human Nutrition, Food & Animal Sciences department and is a junior majoring in Art. Manu was awarded a $750 cash scholarship.

Lily Shao

Individual A4-A7 Finalist:

Ashli Hann

Hann was nominated by Dean Nushida, Student Consumerism Specialist. Ashli is a Student Supervisor with the Financial Aid Services department and is a senior majoring in Psychology. Hann was awarded a $500 cash scholarship.

Jason Lee

Individual A1-A3 Finalist:

Andrew Baker

Baker was nominated by Pua Auyong-White, Academic Support Specialist. Andrew is a Student Assistant in the Student Equity, Excellence & Diversity department and is a sophomore majoring in Communicology. Baker was awarded a $500 cash scholarship.
