Eligibility Requirements for SEOTY Individual Nominees are:
- Nominee must be a Mānoa classified, continuing student in the Spring 2013 semester at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.
- The nominee must be currently employed on the F1 or F3 payroll code, which denotes the individual as a student employee of the University of Hawaii under the Mānoa Career Center.
- The nominee must also be enrolled as a UH Mānoa classified student with the minimum number of credits as follows: 9 credits for Undergraduates, 6 credits for Graduates.
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must have been employed at least 6 months prior to the time of nomination.
- Must work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the academic periods.
SEOTY Individual Nominees will be evaluated using the nomination essay submitted by their nominators. The criteria used by the selection committee are as follows:
- Quality of Work
- Reliability
- Initiative
- Professionalism
- Uniqueness of Contribution
- Campus/Community Service

- Team members must be Mānoa classified, continuing students in the Spring 2013 semester at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.
- Team members must be currently employed on the F1 or F3 payroll code, which denotes the individual as a student employee of the University of Hawaii under the Mānoa Career Center.
SEOTY Team Nominees will be evaluated using the nomination essay submitted by their nominators. The selection committee will be looking at the following:
- Description of the work of the student team
- The team's contributions to your department and/or the university
- Other attributes that make this team outstanding
