Craft Fair & Silent Auction
The SEOTY Craft Fair & Silent Auction was created to supplement scholarship awards and provided needed program support for the Student Employee of the Year Program. The proceeds from this event guarantee that the top four (4) nominees will receive scholarship awards and that all program costs are covered.
In 1996, the first Craft Fair was a great success despite limited space, resources, and only 16 vendors. In 2000, fund raising efforts were expanded to include a silent auction. Over the years, program funding has continued to decline, but participation and support has steadily increased.
Today, the campus community looks forward to the yearly event, held the Friday before Thanksgiving. It is a perfect time for campus crafters to display their handiwork, for you to do a little Christmas shopping from over 25 vendors, and everyone to join in the excitement of winning a bid for a fantastic auction item donated by our generous supporters.
Come join us for some Christmas shopping, beautiful crafts, and ‘onolicious grinds! Check out the participating vendor page to see what will be sold!
